Strategically located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India - widely known as the Silicon Valley of India - BBC serves as a catalyst for next-generation biotech startups, researchers, and innovators.

Jointly established by the Department of IT, BT and S&T, Government of Karnataka, and the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India, BBC offers a world-class innovation ecosystem designed to accelerate the journey from idea to impact.

BBC provides access to state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure, advanced scientific equipment, and shared facilities, enabling startups to focus on innovation without heavy upfront capital investment. Beyond infrastructure, the Centre plays a pivotal role in empowering entrepreneurs through mentorship from industry experts, structured incubation programs, networking with investors and industry leaders, and access to government and private funding opportunities.
