BBC-Incubated Startup 4baseCare Raises ₹90 Crore in Series B Funding

Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre (BBC) is proud to announce that 4baseCare, a BBC-incubated precision oncology startup, has raised ₹90 crore (USD 9.8 million) in the first close of its Series B funding round.

The round was co-led by renowned investors Ashish Kacholia and Lashit Sanghvi, with continued participation from existing investor Yali Capital. This milestone marks a significant step forward for 4baseCare as it accelerates its mission to make precision oncology more inclusive, accessible, and relevant for diverse populations.

Scaling Precision Oncology Across Emerging Markets

The newly raised capital will enable 4baseCare to:

  • Expand its hospital-linked genomics laboratories across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Central Asia
  • Strengthen and scale its AI-driven precision oncology platform, OncoTwin
  • Deepen partnerships with hospitals to integrate genomics-based cancer diagnostics directly into clinical workflows

Through these efforts, 4baseCare aims to bring advanced cancer diagnostics and decision support closer to patients and clinicians in real-world clinical settings.

AI-Driven Clinical Intelligence: OncoTwin

At the core of 4baseCare’s innovation is OncoTwin, an AI-powered clinical decision support platform that:

  • Integrates clinico-genomic data with real-world patient outcomes
  • Supports oncologists with faster, more confident treatment insights
  • Continuously learns from real-world data to improve decision-making over time

Commenting on the funding, Hitesh Goswami, Founder & CEO of 4baseCare, said:

“This funding will help us scale globally while building OncoTwin as an AI-driven decision support platform that learns from real-world clinico-genomic outcomes and supports oncologists with faster, more confident insights.”

The OncoTwin platform was recently selected for the MSK iHub program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, further validating its global relevance and clinical impact.

Investor Confidence in Inclusive Innovation

Speaking about the investment, Ashish Kacholia and Lashit Sanghvi, co-leads of the Series B round, noted:

“4baseCare is building a powerful genomics and AI-driven clinical intelligence platform for inclusive precision oncology. With strong hospital partnerships enabling access to world-class diagnostics for patients in clinical settings, the company is well positioned to scale across emerging markets and expand its delivery model for maximum patient benefit.”

From Incubation to Global Impact

Founded by Hitesh Goswami, Bengaluru-based 4baseCare focuses on creating population-specific clinico-genomic datasets to improve cancer diagnosis and treatment for underrepresented groups. By combining genomic testing with real-world clinical data, the company delivers actionable insights tailored to local populations—addressing a critical gap in global oncology research.

As a BBC-incubated startup, 4baseCare has benefitted from the Centre’s ecosystem support, infrastructure, mentorship, and deep connections across academia, healthcare, and industry. Its success reflects the role of incubation in translating science-led innovation into scalable, global health solutions.

Strengthening India’s Life Sciences Innovation Ecosystem

This achievement underscores the growing impact of startups emerging from the Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre ecosystem and highlights the importance of collaboration between entrepreneurs, clinicians, researchers, and investors in advancing healthcare innovation.

BBC congratulates the entire 4baseCare team on this remarkable milestone and wishes them continued success as they scale their mission to transform cancer care globally.
